Hallandale Beach is a community of 31,367 year-round residents, which increases to an estimated 41,511 during the winter season. It is a full service City with its own Police and Fire/Rescue Departments.

Shopping is as easy as walking out your door in Hallandale Beach. Merchandise of every kind can be found in shopping centers, individual boutiques and malls, conveniently located throughout the city. The Diplomat Mall and Fashion Row are local popular shopping areas in the center of major shopping districts in surrounding cities.

We also feature the Hallandale Beach Symphonic Pops Orchestra , which performs several concerts every year, and with our Cultural Community Center, bring even more cultural and entertainment events to Hallandale Beach. The Hallandale Beach Cultural Community Center is a state-of-the-art cultural community center that offers programs for the performing and visual arts, as well as entertainment and social events.

Hallandale Beach is often referred to as the "Wall Street of the South."  East Hallandale Beach Boulevard has more financial institutions in one mile than any other street within Broward County. Recognizing this, the City has designated the Boulevard a Financial District east of Federal Highway.
